Dudley Locke Founder and CEO
As the founding President and CEO of Good Choice Institute, Inc., Dudley Ade Locke brought over 22 years of social and emotional administrative and educational experience to the Chicago Public School System. His cutting-edge approach to teaching in education lead Dudley to become Assistant Principal at Fiske Elementary and Senior Dean, at Roosevelt Middle School in Bellwood, Illinois for two years.
Other notable accolades include successful completion of Governor State Universities, coaching for recovery certification circa 2011, and the prestigious Eisenhower Foundations top 30 educators in North America to study the Chinese education system in 2000. The Chicago Assistant Principals’ Association bestowed the Distinguished Leadership award to him in 2004, and Manchester Who’s Who Registry for Executive and Professionals in Education awarded him in leadership, management, and interpersonal skills in 2006 – 2007.
As a decorated military officer in the Army, Dudley was endorsed in General Administration circa 1998.
His commitment to the mentoring and coaching of civilians and veterans in their “recovery lives”, has made him well respected by his peers. That same steadfast commitment has been poured into the numerous students’ lives he has touched over the years. His motto is “Win the future with emotional intelligence and developmental spirituality.”
Dudley’s continued desire to become more innovative in his approach to teaching has resulted in an additional 30 hours of training with the Wright Foundation in 2016 for the realization of human potential to enhance his leadership development and social and emotional skills. He has also developed and patented a “Whole Person Education Model” through the Good Choice Institute, Inc. His latest certification in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy in 2017 continues to support his mission.
Moreover, Dudley strongly believes that educational growth and spiritual development must be a life-long journey.
